Heartfelt elopement in Vancouver...Kaitlyn and Ian’s elopement was a beautiful day; between the stunning scenery, the loving ceremony, and their absolute adoration for one another, it was truly perfect.
The day started off with a small ceremony with just the immediate family in a forest just outside of Vancouver’s downtown area. Standing amongst the trees, surrounded by loved ones, Kaitlyn and Ian made their vows to each other. Afterward, they celebrated with their families by popping some champagne and snapping a few family photos. Kaitlyn and Ian took advantage of the local beaches of Vancouver’s West Coast for their portrait session and it shows! In between smiles, snuggles, and a few kisses, the dramatic summer storm clouds rolled over the mountains and ocean creating the perfect backdrop.
We love the sophisticated Park & Fifth wedding gown topped with a cathedral veil and bouquet filled with blush and white flowers. Did you see the delicate necklaces around her neck? The groom showed up in style wearing a light grey Indochino suit. Guests were a real highlight at this wedding as they toasted to the couple after the ceremony and were delighted by their surroundings and the occasion!
It literally couldn’t have been more West Coast if they had tried. They proved you can hold a heartfelt elopement in Vancouver and still be surrounded by nature. Congrats to Kaitlyn and Ian who celebrated their day and both the forest and ocean scenery around them.
