Surfer Bride Adventure on Vancouver Lake...we don’t see a bride surfing in her gown every day, but we love it! Cassie, a great surfer, chose to celebrate her upcoming wedding with some talented waveboarding (she held her bouquet and drank champagne!!). Local British Columbia wedding photographer Esther Moerman took the epic photos and video and was excited to fulfill a bucket list item herself!
Stave Lake is just outside Vancouver, Canada, and was the perfect spot for the laugh-filled water shoot. Esther explains: “Cassie is wake-surfing from the back of the boat while we shot photos as fast as we could.” Lake weddings have become extremely popular, but this takes the idea to a personal level.
Remember that Cassie is a professional, so don’t try to do anything outside your comfort zone! (It was safety first on this shoot…) But the idea of finding your true talent and expressing it in a celebratory shoot with friends or fiance is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure opportunity. Surfer Bride Adventure on Vancouver Lake will stay one of our favorite West Coast Wedding inspirations. We can’t wait to see what other exciting ideas may appear next!
