Dreamy Keats Island Elopement…Richard + Justine could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding day! Or a more beautiful setting. The sunshine blessed their vows as family and close friends witnessed their union. British Columbia boasts unending natural beauty where couples can wed, but Keats Island (the Indigenous name is Lhek’tines) is a rare gem. One of the smaller islands off the Sunshine Coast is a quiet and wild spot. The island remains mostly forested with ocean outcrops and pebble beaches. An absolutely perfect spot for a West Coast beach wedding!

Richard and Justine had decided on a small intimate wedding. So they, along with their guests, hopped the water taxi to Keats Island. The crystal clear summer day added to everyone’s joy (and the photos!!). The bride was a picture with her lace sleeveless gown and lovely veil. A blush pink bouquet completed the look. The seals swam around them, and boats cruised by as they exchanged their vows. Afterward, everyone went back to the cabin and celebrated as the sun went down.

The newlyweds enjoyed an amazing photo session (and a bottle of champagne!) along the beach cliffs. And we love the results – the perfect dreamy Keats Island elopement!
